Happy Sunday everyone! This week was full of fun times!
We have been using the dog bed that is next to the couch and crate as the designated "time out" location, and Jayce is onto us. Lately, when he acts up, it "stop doing X or you'll get a time out". And he's been immediately stopping the activity, and walking over to the dog bed and sitting on it for 10 seconds, smiling at us. Then he gets up and goes back to doing what he was doing, or playing. He does this regardless of whether the bed is occupied by a dog (see below).
When he actually does get put in time out, it's no longer fun and games - so our spot and time out plan is safe...for now.
I mentioned a week or so ago that I ordered a new bean bag for Jayce's room, so we could move the glider into the nursery. Well it arrived on Monday, and Jayce was thrilled. He loves climbing up in it, being thrown onto it, and throwing himself into it. Of course he had to test it out before we moved it upstairs (note the cup, he's finally taught himself how to drink out of straws)

| The glider in its new home - just need a few last minute items (lamp, curtains, nightlight) and the nursery is done |
I also mentioned last week that Jayce has taken an interest in cooking. And he has, but nothing compares to the interest he has in the oven mitts. Him and Justin play "Lobster Man" with them frequently.
Little man is growing up so fast! Keep an eye out for some new clothes. Jayce is quickly outgrowing a number of his 18 mo outfits and shirts (they just don't cover his belly anymore!). He moved into 24mo/2T jammies this week, and we are slowly weeding out the 18mo clothes that don't fit and adding in the 24mo/2T ones that do! Below, is a "before and after" shot, the first picture was taken before breakfast, when we aren't too happy to be up, the second was after, when we are happy to be up!
Jayce still rides this dog, and we have officially put the handle down, and he rides it like he's supposed to (though maybe not in this picture). His legs are finally long enough for him to propel himself forward while seated (way easier for mom and dad than having us bend down to push him all over the place)
In Baby news, we had an ultrasound last week, which confirmed that baby is (was) in fact head down. While this week the Dr did agree baby was still head down, he made sure to remind me (during the ultrasound) that baby can still flip breech. This was nothing new to me, I knew this, but it has brought a huge peace of mind to myself knowing that at 36 weeks baby was head down (and as we progress to the end of the pregnancy, baby is only going to get bigger, which would make flipping harder and less likely). So here's to hoping that baby stays head down!

You look great! Jayce is sooo cute, it is fun to see all the pics as he grows and experiences life. :)
