Quiet week

Quiet week here on the home front.  Spent most of Monday and Tuesday at home, recovering from the activities of the weekend.  It has been a bit cooler here lately, so we had some good walks on Monday and Tuesday morning, despite the fact that they didn't happen until closer to 830.

Little man still enjoys playing in the dog crate, though he is rapidly outgrowing it (and the pack and play apparently, took a nap at grandmas this afternoon, and he practically touches each end once laying down in it)

Wednesday and Thursday involved a family trip to Target for some new shows for little man, and a trip to the free aquarium in Cabela's!  Jayce is IN LOVE with his new light up Lightning McQueen kicks, and had a blast looking at all the "ishies".  Ashlynn slept through both outings, of course.

this is his "i can run fast" face

Jayce is really starting to fine tune his utensil skills - note the mostly clean face...it's not always that clean....baby steps

And we are starting to see some social smiles from the little lady!!!  Along with longer periods of awake/alert time between feedings.

Saturday Aunt Sandy arrived from Chicago, so we hung out at Aunt Barb's for dinner and some catching up.

Sunday morning we skipped out on church given Jayce has been coughing quite a bit, not sleeping well, and over all kinda snotty (nose more than attitude).  Not sure if it's a cold or just a combination of the changing seasons/cutting his final canine tooth, we played it safe and kept his exposure to just family.  So instead we went back to Aunt Barb to watch the Bears game (unfortunately they didn't win...), then off to grandmas for naptime and pool time.

don't let the picture fool you, if you could see J's face, he was NOT happy on the raft

What this post lacks in substance, it makes up for in pictures, there's a fussy baby downstairs demanding my attention.  Till next week...
