2 Months Old!!!

2 months old, and over 2 feet tall!

Holy cow, Jayce is already two months old! The time is flying by, and he is growing up soooo fast! This past week was mommy's last full week home. We did a lot of cuddle time, working on tummy time, and had some daddy time while mommy and Grandma Karen had a girls day at the spa.

We had out 2month check up at the doctors office. He is weighing in at 12lbs 7oz (sorry Natalie, you guessed too high!), which is the 72nd percentile, and he is measuring 24.25" in length, which is the 91st percentile. He's getting to be such a big boy! He also got two shots and an oral vaccine. He had no problem with the oral meds, but he was not happy with the shots. A couple of hours later he still wasn't happy, but a dose of children's Tylenol fixed that.

With Papa after the doctor's appointment

Papa was in town Friday so he got to meet him, unfortunately Jayce wasn't his usually happy self, but Papa understood, he's had a few kids and knows what shots are like. We went out to dinner with Papa, Uncle Allen, Uncle Michael, Aunt Tammy, Garrick, and Kaden. Jayce was a very good boy. Woke up for his dinner, then played with Aunt Tammy and flirted with the lady at the next table. After dinner, Jayce got a bath, and we went on a walk, with Papa walking the dogs. Now he understands why I don't walk them alone when it's just me and Jayce. Saturday we lounged around the house with daddy. When daddy left for work, Jayce and I went out running errands.

Sunday after church Jayce and I went over to Grandma Karen's to go swimming. She heated up the jacuzzi for Jayce to bath water temperature (while the pool is comfortable for us adults, and even older kids, we didn't want it to be too cold for Jayce, we wanted him to enjoy pool time). He took to the water like a pro and just chilled with us in the water. We hung out I. The water for 30-45 min, then he started to get tired. So out of the water, back into dry clothes, and into Aunt Barbs arms for nap time. Later that evening Jayce and mommy cuddled together in the hammock after dinner.
