Baptism!!

Sorry that I missed last week's post, life has been a little off kilter since I returned to work. What has happened in the past two weeks? I'm sure I will forget something.

Last week I worked two days while Justin stayed home with Jayce. That Friday Aunt Alex came over for a sleep over and we had some good quality time. She spoiled Jayce, and took many pictures (which I hope will eventually make it here).

Saturday we just chilled around the house and baked cookies while Uncle Michael came over to build an outdoor enclosure for the tortoises. Sunday Jayce and I went to church, then to the reunion for the birth class we took. It was neat to see all the babies.

Monday was my first full time week back at work. Which means that Grandma Karen watched Jayce Monday and Tuesday. From what I hear they have been having a good time together. They take walks in the morning, have play time and tummy time, and he leaves Grandma tired!

This Friday Auntie Stacie came into town (and so did Uncle Chris and Natalie) for Jayce's Baptism. We hung out with Stacie on Friday, and ran some errands. Saturday, after cleaning the house, we went to Costco to pick up the food for Sunday, then to Grandma Karen's to hang out in the pool for a bit.

Today was the Baptism. Jayce was such a good boy! He was excellent through the mass before hand, then fell asleep for most of the Baptism. He woke up a little when the water was poured on him, but never cried. By the time he was anointed with the oil, he was fully awake. He was perfect, as always, and looked like a stud, thanks to the stylin' outfit Auntie Stacie bought. After the ceremony, it was back to our house for food and cake. Enjoy the pictures!!  And a HUGE thank you to Natalie who took all the wonderful pictures at the Baptism (Yes, she was there, but behind the camera...Unfortunately I didn't think to get one with her in it!  UGH, SORRY!)
