Jayce's First Christmas

So I realize Christmas was last week, but this has been one heck of a week.  Little man sure was spoiled on his first Christmas!

 We spent some time at my Grandparent's house on Christmas Eve, before heading to church, followed by dinner at my Mom's.

Christmas morning was quite at the Narry house.  The dogs were fighting over their new toys, and Jayce spent the morning playing with his new "cell phone" that Santa left in his stocking.  That afternoon we went back to my Mom's for dinner (and Justin met us there when he got off work).  He wasn't too sure what to make of all the gifts, and the present opening was slow going; he'd tear off a piece, then try to eat it, and completely forget about the remaining paper and/or package.

Wednesday I took off work so we could have a "family" Christmas together.  Jayce was a bit overwhelmed and extremely tired after a few very long days out and about with few naps, and lots of exciting new toys.  So we had him open a gift or two, then play and/or nap, followed by another gift or two.  It was kinda nice in that the event lasted all day; but then again, so did the mess....

The rest of the week and this weekend was spent trying to get him back on a routine....right....
