So this week has been a good one. Jayce has been in a stellar mood all week. But man, this kid is developing quite the little personality. Not quite sure who he gets it from, but he has this little evil laugh that is hilarious. It usually comes out when Justin and I are having a conversation that is funny, so we start laughing, and he joins in. On top of that, he is starting to learn the word "no", but not in the repeating or listening sense. In the, "I know I'm not supposed to be doing this, but I am anyway", kind of way. For example; yesterday he crawled over to the dog's water bowl, and hovers his hand over the top and looks over to see if I'm watching him. we make eye contact, and I say "no". He proceeds to lower his hand a little closer to the water, still not touching, and looks back at me. I repeat "no" and he lowers his hand more. Each time he lowers his hand, he laughs his evil little laugh. I finally get myself up off my rear end and take him away from the water bowl. He knows exactly what he's doing, and he's laughing the entire "flight" back to the living room.
So we spent some time out at the water table, with water he is allowed to play in.
The faces this kid makes are hilarious and melt my heart day in and day out.
Then we spent some time playing with the farm puzzle and cruising through the kitchen. I love this kid so much, and am so thankful that he is so easy to entertain and keep happy. He is an amazingly easy going kid, who has a perpetual smile on his face. I'm in love with him more and more each day, which isn't something I was really prepared for or expecting. Don't get me wrong, I knew I'd love this little boy with my whole heart, but I didn't think that love could grow as exponentially as it is. It is amazing what we are capable of doing and feeling.

Sunday we went over to grandma's to visit with her and play in her pool (again with the water he is allowed to play in. He is such a water baby.

We'll leave you with the belly shot, again...Looking back at the belly pictures of Jayce towards the end kinda freaks me out, here I am excited that we are over half way through, but looking at the 35+ week pictures from his pregnancy has me remembering and realizing how far we still have to go....gah!
My goal for this week is to get some in-progress nursery pictures for you all for next weeks post - but don't hold me to it!
