Preparing for Baby Narry

So we have been busy getting the house and ourselves ready for the day Baby Narry decides to show up.  I'm happy to say that as of now, we are officially in our 37th week, and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter (almost at the rate that I'm getting bigger).  We have lined up child care for when I have to go back to work, and have selected a pediatrician.  Even the dogs have noticed a difference and are much calmer when I walk them by myself (though they still get overly excited when they spot a rabbit, or in Gunnar's case, anything that moves i.e. leaves, bags, birds, etc), all in all they are calming down one day at a time.

The nursery is pretty much done as well. We had a few set backs with the furniture, and the color it was ordered in vs. the color(s) that arrived, but all has been resolved. All that's missing is the glider, but that has been ordered, and should be ready about the same time this baby makes its big debut (hopefully just before, but hey, as long as we get it within a week or so of baby coming I'm not going to complain).

Justin painted the room, and mom helped me hang the wall decals (available on etsy.com).  The canvas print that is hanging on the wall above the dresser was a gift from my BFF Alex.  She did our maternity photos for us, and did an absolutely amazing job.  As soon as I get the pictures I'll be sure to upload a few of our favorites to share.

Above is a close-up picture of the adorable quilt that my mom made for baby.

Stacie threw an amazing baby shower for me back in February, and as soon as I figure out how to save the pictures, and get a few from Alex, I'll post them.  Otherwise that's pretty much it.  We are almost done with our Child Birth Preparation classes, and I'm sure Justin is happy about that.  I know he loves going :)  Just tying up a few loose ends.  On the agenda this week is to get a hospital bag most packed, and a list of remaining items needed.

Oh, and there's the minor detail of narrowing down our name choices.  Making a list of the girls names was so much easier.  If only we could agree on boys names!  Good thing we still have some time :)
