11 months!

Holy B-gezus!

Apparently this little man is going to be one in less than a month!  It boggles my mind how quickly this year has gone by (yes, I know I have said it before, but really, it flies).  I was talking with some other mothers, and they put it pretty accurately, its the parental time-warp.  I mean, every year times seem to go by faster, but with this little man running my life now, it has entered warp speed.

Anyway, he is doing great, weighing in around 21 lbs (we will get official stats next month at our one year check up!)

Recently he has discovered how much fun the inside of the dog crate is (no, I did not put him in it; no, I did not bribe him to go in; he enters on his own will, and the first time he did so was on Justin's watch). Part of me wonders if he sees this as a little house/tent/fort that is pre-made and ready to go; not unlike the death traps I made as a kid involving sheets, volumes of the encyclopedia britanica, book cases, and the sofa.

Life this week has been good, and quiet.  Jayce has his hair cut this weekend, then its full fledged birthday party planning mode.  Got the electronic version of his birthday invitations the other day, and am so excited to get them printed and in the mail.
