Another week come and gone, another week closer to J's first birthday! Getting excited (if you haven't noticed). Both of his birthday outfits have arrived. Yes, I said two. Off of Etsy, I ordered an awesomely Seuss-ical decorated and personalized shirt for him to wear on his actual birthday (unfortunately he as to go to day care that day, but at least he will be festive!) and another awesomely Seuss-ical and personalized onesie WITH matching party hat for his party. (I'm not delusional, I am we'll aware he will most likely not wear the hat the whole time, but hoping to score a few good pics of him in it). In preparation for his big birthday, we have been catching up on our Dr. Seuss books. We alternate between all the ones we have, but the only one we can consistently get him to sit all the way through is Fox in Socks. I must say, I've gotten noticeably better at the crazy rhymes throughout the book, though Justin still gets quite frustrated. Either way, it is the first book read before nap or bed, and sometime it makes an encore as the last book as well. Not sure what it is about this book, but he LOVES it.

Jayce finally cut his sixth tooth this weekend. He now has four on top, and two on the bottom, and boy does he love using them! His new favorite snacks: graham crackers! And listening to him gnaw and crunch into them is the funniest thing ever! They come in handy too. They are now the go to bribe for church (and they last longer so we need fewer to get through the mass), and for getting the little man to sit still for his first hair cut!!!
Yep, the last little bit of baby I was clinging so desperately to has been cut off. We both made it through the event without tears (well, I made it through the event, but barely made it to the car, lets be honest). But he was the man of the salon while we were there too, everyone commented on how good looking he is, and how he was so well behaved and happy.

Monday night Dillon and Travis are coming into town for a visit, and we couldn't be more excited. I am taking Tuesday off of work, and Justin will be leaving work early, and we are all going to catch a spring training game together (lucky them, they have a built in DD)! Wednesday the boys will have a bots day, then meet me downtown for Jayce's one year pictures! So excited!!! Those are the big things coming up. Stay tuned for pics!!?
How far along? 15 weeks; baby is now ~4" in length (approximately the size of a navel orange!)
Total weight gain/loss: up about 2 pounds now.
Maternity clothes? Starting to add them to the wardrobe. I would say about half the time now I'm in maternity clothes (usually yet pants)
Stretch marks? no new ones - just the one or two that hadn't faded from before
Sleep: not usually a problem, unless little man is having an off night
Best moment this week: felt the first few flutters. Rare, and inconsistent still, but there!!!!
Miss Anything? Would love a beer or a glass of wine (esp Tuesday when we go to the baseball game!!!)
Food cravings: southwest egg rolls!! And nothing else tasted good when that craving was there....thank God for my amazing hubby who made them for me, from scratch!
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope
Have you started to show yet: a little bit more every day/week. Getting a bit rounder anyway.

Gender prediction: still thinking girl....
Labor Signs: nope, thank God
Belly Button in or out? Still in
Wedding rings on or off? Still on (though I anticipate them coming off sooner with this one, my fingers tend to swell in the summer in general)
Happy or Moody most of the time: still exhausted, but happy overall. Not too many mood swings, not like last time anyway; apparently they are milder or I'm just more laid back and handle the stupid people better.
Looking forward to: visiting with Travis and Dillon when they get here Monday! Then next week we have another check up (get to hear the heartbeat, but won't see the baby till closer to 20 weeks)
