That is exactly how I feel little miss. This week has been jam packed with play!
Jayce is becoming such an amazing big brother. It is awesome to watch him grow and develop and love his sister more and more each day. Several times a day he is down on the floor playing with her, sharing his cars with her, and showing her how to play with here toys. We have truly been blessed with the most amazing little kids ever (I know every parent says that, and I'm biased, but hey, they are amazing).
I realize that several parts of the country (and you may live in one of them) are experiencing some record cold winters. We, on the other hand, are currently running about 10 degrees warmer than normal here. So we've been outside soaking up as much sun as possible (before the astronomically high summer heat hits). Jayce has been loving every minute of it, between driving his truck, playing at the playground, walks through the neighborhood, and kicking the balls in backyard he is one happy, energy filled, little boy.

Thursday we took the kiddos to the Phoenix Zoo. Grandpa and Grandma Suzanne got the family a membership there for Christmas, and we are going to try to use it as much as possible before summer hits, then again in the "fall". Jayce had a blast looking at all the different animals. It was pretty empty (being a Thursday morning and all) so we let him run "wild" and free from the stroller. He was in heaven, and knelt in front of every enclosure to look at the animals. If the animals were laying down, he'd put his finger to his lips and "ssshhh" us so that we wouldn't wake the sleeping animals. Little miss enjoyed herself too, and was up for almost the whole 2.5 hours we were there (refused to take a nap in the stroller, and towards the end wanted to be carried so she could see the animals better herself.

After a 20 minute catnap during the car ride home, both kids were ready for more play time (and mom and dad were ready for their naps)
For some reason, Jayce has now taken to pushing his stuffed dog around in his dog walker. Quite amusing, and irritating all at the same time (irritating when they are both singing and he stops to restart the stuffed dogs song....I have a feeling our house will not be quiet for decades to come)
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were low key days. Grandpa is in town, but sick, so we haven't been able to see him yet. We've just been hanging around the house and playing like its our job.
It's almost bedtime for this mama, so till next week!
