And we are making the most of the gorgeous weather we have been blessed with by getting outside as often as possible (while we still can…rumor has it summer is going to be b-r-u-t-a-l brutal). We started the week off with a trip to the zoo.
Wednesday, while making dinner, I had to dodge the laundry basket go-cart that was taking over the kitchen.
Thursday the kids had a morning with daddy while I ran some errands, and after naps we dug into the sensory bins.
Friday after work, it was off to the park to burn off some energy before dinner and bed. We made sure to take some time to stop and smell the flowers.
Saturday we headed over to the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park and met up with Grandma for some fun with the trains.
This morning the kids and I took a nice long walk followed by one quick errand (though if you asked the kids, it wasn't quick enough), before heading back home for some play time, lunch and naps. Once dad got home, it was more fun with blocks and puzzles.
