Woo Hoo!

It is with immense joy and excitement that we are *finally* sharing the news that Baby Narry #3 is on his or her way! This is by far the longest we have waited to tell people, but after our miscarriage in October, we couldn't fathom having to make those types of calls/texts/notifications again (as it was, I couldn't handle it last time). These last two months have been filled with so much happiness, excitement, as well as a lot of anxiety for "what if".

But today we are beyond thrilled to say that we have made it to and through the first trimester! We had our 12 week appointment today and baby is doing amazing (moving like crazy, much like Ashlynn was throughout her pregnancy) and measuring 13 weeks! Everything looks (and for the most part is starting to feel) great.

This time around we did opt to have some bloodwork done to test for any chromosomal abnormalities (which was the cause of our miscarriage), but haven't received those test results back - so please send up a quick prayer for us that all is good on the genetic front for us!

So far J and A both just enjoy "playing" with the baby, and trying to give it high-fives through my belly button. And they are both convinced they have a baby in their bellies too. So hopefully that means they are excited - though I"m sure reality will sink in when we bring baby home…just like it did for J when we brought A home.
