Woot woot!

We hope you all had as great of a week as we did!
With Monday being a holiday, we spent a lot of it outside playing.  We met up with some friends at a local park and then took a nice long walk after naps.

Tuesday we had a full day.  I worked a half day at work, then we took the kids over to Grandma's house so Justin could go with me to my Dr's appointment.  If you missed the post last week, we are excited to finally share the news that we are expecting baby #3!  This week we had our 12 week appointment, and baby is doing great.  Super active and growing well (measuring a few days ahead in fact).  We are still waiting on the results of the genetic testing we did (peace of mind that the baby is free of chromosomal abnormalities; and we opted to not find out the sex - which is possible to do with this blood test) - I should hear back Monday or Tuesday of this week.

Thursday we got back outside and enjoyed the nice weather - and tried to distract J from his "boo boo".  After nap, it was clear that distracting wasn't working and a trip to the Dr's office was in order.  Somewhere in the course of the morning we think J got something in his eye.  In the process of trying to remove said thing from his eye, he was furiously rubbing the eye, he scratched his cornea.  One trip to our pediatrician's urgent care hours, and two trips to the pharmacy later, J wand A were finally in bed (only an hour after normal), and all was finally quiet in the house.  We are happy to report that he (and his eye) are doing much better - at least until it's time to put the drops in his eye…then all hell breaks loose again.

Friday J was back to normal and they spent the morning with Grandma dancing and playing and being goofy.  After naps and I got home from work, we dug out some blocks and J showed A how to build tall towers using all the different shapes.

Saturday we went to Barnes and Nobel to pick up a quick birthday gift, and then headed home for a playdate/lunch date with our neighbor down the street.  After naps it was off to the birthday party!

Justin is finally feeling better, so today the kids and I made the cupcakes J picked out for him for Valentines Day.  A sat herself in front of the oven and watched them back...

After naps I had Justin take a few pictures for me for a project I'm working on (more details on that to come at a later time), and J was up and wanted to "help".  He took a few pictures and jumped in front of the camera a few times too.  He's such a ham sometimes.

Then it was out to the park to run and play before heading home for dinner, cupcakes and bed!

And since we have moved into our second trimester, and I did bump-photos with both J and A starting at 13 weeks; here's the newest addition!  I find it interesting to see the difference (albeit subtle) between each pregnancy)
